Touch Me Not? (MYL 103)

Physical Touch is another Love Language we need to be conversant with. Its unfortunate that in our own side of the world, Africa this is least expressed. Adversely, any obvious show of affection is seen as inappropriate and unnecessary!

However, several studies have shown that the physical expression of love like hugging, touching, back patting , holding of hands, cuddling etc are highly essential and absolutely necessary to some people. They need these to feel loved, appreciated and cherished.

If this is the Love Language of the person you desire a closer relationship with, you just have to learn to 'speak' it for easy communication and intimacy. Be it between a parent and a child, spouses, friends etc, learn to invest accordingly in your relationships! It's a sure morale booster any time any day!
