#OurGirlsAreOnTheirWayHome 2

I woke up this morning to what I believe is Good News. I want to believe this is a sign that the freedom of the #ChibokGirls, yea, the #234AbductedBornuGirls; the reason for the #BringBackOurGirls protests around the world is in sight!I read and I quote from the Vanguard Newspaper dated 10th of May, 'There were indications yesterday that the 230 female students abducted by Boko Haram terrorists from the Government Girls' Secondary School, GGSS, Chibok, Borno State, have been sited at the Sambisa Forest in Borno State, by the Special Forces of the United States Marines.'I pray the Rescue Mission that our Nigerian Armed Forces are embarking on will be successful and #OurGirlsAreOnTheirWayHome will indeed be a reality!Today, let's continue with the book #SecetAnguish. Its sure to make you #ReadRestRelax.Chapter 3 contd"And where, if I may ask, did you get that?' He demanded in a raised voice, quite shocked. He must have forgotten it in one of his pockets. He wanted to give it to a colleague who was traveling to Benin to give it to Dave.
"And where did you leave it? For how long has this been going on behind my back?"
"What do you mean? What is going on behind your back? What exactly are you trying to imply?"
These he said angrily in quick succession.
"Steve, how can you do this to me? How can you do this to us? Have you forgotten that you are married? I can't believe this! Is this what this world is coming to? Tina of all people?""Woman! Are you mad or crazy? Stop being hysterical and leave Tina out of this!"
"How can I? She is your hope and inspiration, your friend and your confidant. I'm surprised you didn't include your lover. So tell me, who am I to you? If a so-called friend or sister in the Lord is all these to you." Her voice was laced with feelings of hurt and betrayal as she continued bitterly.
"In other words, I am your cook, your maid, your housekeeper and the nanny to your children. I guess being your wife is just a glorified office with no benefits. Steve, when has our marriage turned to this?"Steve was absolutely angry and filled with a righteous anger especially as he felt nothing immoral has occurred in his relationship with Tina.
"You can say what you wish. But I want you to know I don't appreciate your jumping to conclusion on things you know nothing about! Stop putting words into my mouth, Tina has done nothing wrong and neither have I, at least, not with her." The last, he said under his breath and was thankful that it didn't carry to Mary."She has done nothing wrong?" Mary replied in amazement.
"She took my husband's affection, you hold her in preference over me and I'm sure she is the one you now converse with. Or when last did we sit down to have any discussion? And I'm not suppose to blame her?"
"She-is –just-a-friend!" Steve was infuriated by now.
"A friend indeed. A friend that you are afraid of losing?" She was reading out from the letter again.
"Can you hear yourself? Friendship is one thing; this is something else. Don't you think this is an handshake beyond the elbow, an overkill?""Steve, what is happening to us? It's obvious you no longer feel any love for me. You no longer talk to me. It seems we are now living two separate lives. We have been sweeping our problems under the rug and whenever I ask you if anything is wrong, your reply is always 'nothing'. How long can we go on like this? Is this the kind of marriage you wished for? Because this is certainly not what I envisaged or desired .A marriage where you esteemed a so-called friend more than your wife. God! I didn't plan on this happening to me! God! God!"
She broke into tears and ran up the stairs, crying helplessly. She ran straight into their bedroom and threw herself on the bed, painful sobs racking her body.Steve was at a loss. He felt helpless. It seemed his world has come crumbling down around him. Oh Lord, I need you. Tell me what to do, Lord. This woman would be the death of me!End of Chapter Three.Till my next post…let's believe and keep confessing that #OurGirlsAreOnTheirWayHome
